At The Cross
Mission
To help people experience the presence and power of God through music, media and other worship resources.
Hallal comes from the Hebrew word ‘halal’, which means to shine, flash forth light, praise, boast and glory. It is a word that defines praise to God with full abandon and great excitement - the heart of Hallal Worship.
History
Hallal Worship began in West Texas in December of 1989. Over the years this ministry has participated in hundreds of conferences across the United States. It has also provided a wealth of acappella worship music used throughout the world. Drawing on the influence from the vocal strength of this musical style, Hallal Music continues to expand its collection of new music and media worship resources.
In October of 2003, after a decade in Midland, Texas, Hallal Worship moved to Franklin, Tennessee - a growing center for contemporary Christian music. For eight years God blessed the ministry with so many talented singers and musicians. He used this experience to bring together an incredible team of people who share a great passion for creating music and hosting events that help people draw near to Him.
God called Hallal Worship back to Midland, Texas, in October of 2011, where the ministry continues to be focused on providing new worship materials for churches around the world.
